This goes out to ALL Lee descendants regardless of what you may have been told – you have a story to tell of your Lee ancestry and lineages. Stories about your Lee lineage discoveries, your obstacles proving Lee ancestor lines, your disappointments being told your Lee ancestors are not who you know them to be or what the documents may tell you because of faulty Y-DNA Lee Haplogroup claims, and you may even have stories of the hardships experienced of being a Lees of Virginia descendant by some who may deny you your lineage or hate the Lee surname and what it may represent to them.
We would like to know and share your stories. Who you are, your Lee ancestors, what you have experienced, and anything you would like to tell the world about your Lee ancestors and lineages. Your stories will be a collection from all of us who are lee Descendants in Honor and Memory of our Lee ancestors named the “Lee Lost and Found” and will be published as part of the Lees of Virginia Lost Lineages Series by Jacqueli Finley.
Not all stories may be published but we will try to get as many of our stories as possible told.
If you are interested, please submit the contact form below with as much information as you can knowing that your story may be published and made public, but more importantly, documented for all future Lee generations to know. Thank you in advance as this is an important quest for many of us Lee descendants and a common denominator, we have faced in our Lee ancestry and identity.
Thank you in advance for your participation and interest.
If you're interested in sharing your Lee Ancestry Story, start by submitting the form here and attaching any other information you may feel important. You can write your story for us to review on a Word Document or PDF file and attach the file if needed.
